Name the kea born in 2020 - Ricki-Ann Mitchell

I would like to introduce you to this beautiful girl (we think) - the only chick to successfully fledge last year, at St Ronan’s Well nest.

Excitingly, this chick has made it through the most vulnerable period and now deserves a name.

We thought it would be nice to put it to the staff and FOR for suggestions and a vote- so please email through if you have one and we can vote for a winner

These are the most recent images taken from the nest cavity on St Ronan’s Ridge. No predators are showing up on the camera and there are 2-3 very young nestlings. Scuffle is being a great mum sticking close by her chicks. I didn’t linger to long as I didn’t want to disturb her too much at this early stage
